The ILS procedure consists of five simple stages, all conducive to the normal course of the implantation procedure.

Stage 1:
  Dental Impression

  • Take a standard dental impression with a plastic tray (No need to cast).
  • Then fill the Template order form and mail the tray to Tactile.

Stage 2:  CT Scan

  • Within a few days the you will receive a Template that perfectly matches the patient's teeth.
  • The patient then goes for a standard CT scan with the ILS Template mounted in mouth.

Stage 3:  Presurgical Planning
  • Load the CT scan into the ILS software for pre-surgical planning. The software wizard directs dentist through a few simple planning stages.

Stage 4:  Guiding Sheath
  • Use the ILS Manipulator to adjust and create sterile guiding sheaths exactly according to planned implant positions.
  • Attach sheaths to the template.

Stage 5:  Drilling
  • During implant placement procedure, mount the template on the patient's teeth and use it for guided drilling through the sheaths.
