The ILS planning software can be used as a stand-alone pre-operative planning tool, or as part of the ILS-Template system to produce drill-guiding Templates.
Pre-operative planning is recognized by many as a crucial phase in the surgery. Both restorative and periodontal factors play an important role, and a failure in any one of them can potentially lead to sub-optimal results.
The software is targeted for general practitioners practicing dental implant surgery. It replaces the usage of cellulite CT hard copies and provides the dentist with better 3D orientation, measurement and reviewing tools.
The user-interface is wizard-based, taking the user, step-by-step, from careful study of the CT scan through implant selection, to implants exact locations supported by various verification measurements.
The final outcome of the plan is a detailed report defining the exact types, positions and orientations of the implants. The report facilitates a much simpler procedure by showing the planned implants in a manner that can be readily transferred to the patient’s mouth.
